Gibbs Vineyards – 2019 10th Anniversary Reserve Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Gibbs Vineyards:
- No public tasting room
- Produces ~5,000 cases per year across Estate Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Pinot Noir and a Red Blend.
2019 10th Anniversary Reserve Estate Cabernet Sauvignon:
- 104 cases produced
- 32 months on 80% new French oak
- Combination of the oldest “Reserve” block on our Centa Vineyard and the oldest block “Home Block” on the Cross Creek Vineyard. First vintage we ever made wine from the fruit on the Home Block as it had previously been under a grower contract. Cross Creek Vineyard is a stone’s throw from Beringer Chabot and Hundred Acre Ark Vineyard.
Tasting Notes:
The 10th Anniversary Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a special bottling of fruit that is hand-picked from the Centa Vineyard Reserve Block and Cross Creek Vineyard Home Block, showcasing the depth, complexity and intrigue the Gibbs Estate has to offer. A truly special wine from a remarkable vintage, exhibiting power and density without excessive weight.
Vibrant, refined, and expressive. Displaying beautiful purity of fruit; this wine is made from the oldest vines on our Estate Vineyards, some of which are closing in on 40 years. The nose is lively with sweet spice, boysenberry, walnut, and sage that compliment a body full of succulent black cherry, dark fruits, glossy fine tannins and lingering notes of dried herbs, cocoa and iron. Pure and polished with an impressive finish, we recommend laying this down for years to come.

- Tasting room in downtown Napa
- Produce ~8,500 cases per year across several mountain cabernets, as well as Merlot, a Syrah/Grenache blend, Grenache rose, Cabernet Franc, Zinfandel, and a Chardonnay.

2019 Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
- 331 cases produced
- 97% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cab Franc
- 18 mo. French oak; 75% new. Unfiltered & unfined.
- With just 13 acres planted on the 60-acre site, the unique combination of soils (volcanic ash and loam) and varying exposures (Northeast, North and Northwest) required custom rootstock and clonal selection to optimize use of the land and micro-climates within the vineyard.
Tasting Notes:
The 2019 Diamond Mountain District wine is black colored, deep and perfumed with loads of dark, floral tones, mineral, spice-box and graphite pouring out of the glass. On the palate, the profound structure is matched with layer after layer of luscious fruit and round, ripe tannins.

Gallica Wine – 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon
Gallica Wine
- Tasting room in Saint Helena, with tastings by appointmenr
- Produces ~1,500 cases of wine per year across Albarino, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc
- Organizally farmed single vineyard wines, made by Rosemary Cakebread
2022 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
- 250 cases produced
- 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc
- 16 months on 30% new oak
Tasting notes:
A serious exploration of accessible Cabernet Sauvignon. Organically farmed with care – This bottling is fresh, youthful, and inviting. We find notes of oak lichen, blood orange, and even tender rose petals. The charm of the 2022 vintage allowed for less oak cooperage and small alternative fermenters.
